Ah, this one was a challenge that I did with a friend. We both started painting together and both started in acrylics. When I moved to painting in oils we challenged each other to paint the same picture in our different preferred mediums.
This was a pain in the proverbial – I did this in grisaille too, but with every colour was the grapes kept getting bigger and bigger and had to be pulled back. It’s part of the reason that I don’t particularly like painting still life paintings!
